I take photographs from my life and project them onto paintings I’ve done over the last few years in an attempt to better and more fully capture the emotional experience at the time the photo was captured. In doing so, I often find even more elaborate stories about my life and the lives of others. It is a necessarily imprecise combination of art and science I am trying to develop by giving it testable conditions and language.
