Santa Cruz Boardwalk

I spend a few weeks every year in the Santa Cruz area. The Boardwalk is a fascinating slice of American history not because of any earth shattering event (though the movie The Lost Boys was filmed, in part, at the Boardwalk) but because it speaks to a different time, perhaps more carefree. I don’t know. There’s some grand nostalgia that makes itself at home in all of our brains to some degree or another. I can’t help but feel some of it with everything.
